At Maria’s Sauce Co, we believe flavor should always come with a little attitude — even dessert. So allow me to introduce the brownie that refuses to behave: Smokin’ Hot Sauce Brownies.
They’re fudgy. They’re glossy. They melt in your mouth. And then — oh hello — that smoky heat rolls in like a long-lost lover coming back to stir things up.
These brownies don’t just taste good. They perform.
So if you’re looking for a spicy brownie recipe that makes people gasp, pause, and say, “Wait… what’s happening on my tongue?” — welcome home.
Why does this work?
Chocolate + heat = one of the oldest love stories in food.
The cocoa butter softens the punch of the spice, and the spice wakes up all those deep, dark, moody chocolate flavors. It becomes richer. More complex. A little dangerous.
Smokin’ Hot Sauce brings smoky chipotle, a warm, lingering burn, and just enough sass to keep your brownies from being wallflowers.
Smokin’ Hot Sauce Brownies Recipe
Fudgy, bold, and unapologetically saucy.
1 box mix brownies (we recommend Ghirardelli) OR your favorite recipe
Maria's Smokin Hot Sauce (about 1/4 cup or more if desired)
- Make the brownies according to the directions on the box - place in an appropriate pan.
- Drizzle at least 1/4 cup of Maria's Smokin Hot Sauce all over the top. Using a knife or a skewer to swirl the hot sauce through the brownies, leaving pools of hot sauce to bake around.
- Bake according to the directions and cool before serving.
PS. Ghiradelli, can we do a collab?
